I have been married to my marvelous wife since 1985 and am the father of one child. We live in the Chicago/Milwaukee metro area. I am a native of Guymon, Oklahoma.
I hold a Bachelors degree in Economics from Princeton University and a Masters degree in Public and Private Management from Yale University.
The decade from July 16, 2006, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, to the same Feast Day in 2016 was beyond description. Very troubled in July of 2006, I prayed to the Blessed Virgin Mary for help, she to whom I had been consecrated going all the way back to July of 1986 not long after my conversion to the Catholic faith. What followed was a breathtaking answer to my prayer over the next ten years.
I tried my best to capture in these books what happened spiritually and religiously during those years. I never imagined at the time what was in store for me. Truly what was given to me during those years represents "the pearl of great price."
