Mission: “Through total consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the influence of the beautiful, combined spirituality of St. Joan of Arc and St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the Knight of the Dove and Rose seeks to grow in sanctifying grace and to restore the beauty and radiance of the Holy Catholic Church by a contemplative life of Eucharistic prayer which inflames the soul to live out an active, evangelical witness in thought, word, and deed in the world.”

Statement of Honor to Sts. Joan and Thérèse: “Saint Joan and Saint Thérèse – together they are the most beautiful colors in heaven!”

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cling to his wife, and the two shall be made into one.’ This is a great foreshadowing; I mean that it refers to Christ and the Church.” (Eph 5:31-32)

“The Lord loves the city founded on holy mountains, loves the gates of Zion more than any dwelling in Jacob. Glorious things are said of you, O city of God!” (Psalm (87:1-3)

“One of the seven angels…came and said to me, ‘Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.’ And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.” (Rev 21:9-10)

“And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. The Knights of the Dove and Rose is an organization that can include members both lay and religious and that is devoted to individual growth in sanctifying grace which leads to praying, suffering (Col 1:24; I Peter 2:21), and evangelizing for the Church Militant (Eph 6:10-17; Rev 12:17) in union with our Holy Father, the Pope, and for the relief of the Church Suffering in Purgatory (I Cor 3:14-15; 2 Macc 12:46).

 

All is under the patronage of St. Joan of Arc (Matthew 25:21), the co-patronage of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, and dedicated to the reign of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Mediatrix of all graces (Gen 3:15; Luke 1:26-55; John 2:1-11), Queen of heaven and earth (Rev 12:1), the Mother of God (Luke 1:43), and she through whom we must go as the shortest, easiest, and most pleasing way to Jesus Christ our Lord (Luke 1:43-44), Who is Savior of the human race. For, it is only through this Jesus, the historically authentic Founder of the Roman Catholic Church (Matthew 16:18-19; Eph 2:20-22), that we can be saved. There is no other. (Heb 13:8-9a)

We carry the two-edge sword (Heb 12:4) of the Holy Spirit, combining Thérèse’s Little Way of Love with Joan’s mystically militant, unwavering faithfulness to the will of Our Lord and Our Lady. Our objective is the center of the Interior Castle of St. Teresa of Avila on the Summit of  St. John of the Cross’ Mt. Carmel together with the active victory in the world of the Church, which is the pillar of truth (1 Tim 3:15), with her King and her Queen.

In order that we might live out our baptismal vows most effectively, all members should be consecrated to the Virgin Mary (John 19: 26-27) through either the formula given us by St. Louis de Montfort or that of St. Maximilian Kolbe, or any other formula approved by proper Church authorities.

​

We seek martyrdom rather than surrendering our faith (Heb 13:7; Rev 7:14-17); yet, at the same time we consider ourselves unworthy of such an honor. Nor are we presumptuous about our strength to offer ourselves in this manner without the consent and grace of Jesus Christ.

​

We are ecumenical; though, ecumenism for us is expressed as bringing all Christian Churches (Orthodox) and Christian communities (Protestants) back into full union with the One (John 17:20-21), Holy (Eph 1: 22), Catholic (Matthew 28:19-20), and Apostolic (Eph 2:20-22) Church where Peter (The Pope) is its head as established by Christ (Matthew 16:17-19).

We seek the conversion of all other religions, indeed the entire world, to the true Church of God (Matthew 28:18-20). We resist, indeed deplore as heretical, religious relativism that attempts to present all belief systems as being equal.

​

Importantly, we do all in the charity and love of Christ, realizing that each person has the God-given right and use of free will, leaving us to respect that right while bearing witness to authentic glory of the Catholic Church. We realize that we are no better than the sinners who ate with Jesus (Mark 2:13-17); yet, we are blessed to have Him eat with us as well, just as the Prodigal Son was overwhelmed by the gracious forgiveness of the Father (Luke 15:11-31). In all things and in every way we are less than our neighbors, even our enemies, as servants in the spirit of love Christ exemplified in His own life (John 13:12-17).

We understand that many who choose not to join us are still respectful of our teachings and traditions and that they often love our saints despite being separated from us. We are honored that they would feel this way. Despite our differences, we honor their dignity, as we do all people friend or foe, as fellow brothers and sisters created in the image of God.
