Interpreting Le Royaume

The following are notes. They are drafts of a model still in formation. They outline five key themes that make up the core of Le Royaume, The Dove and Rose, Royal Hearts, and all of my books. Were one to seek the essence of these writings as well as milestone markers for making the journey on the Trail of the Dogmatic Creed with St. Joan and St. Thérèse, for following the Dove and Rose devotion to Sts. Joan and Thérèse, and for obtaining a Royal Heart, they would be found here. These are the five key markers shown to me by our saintly sisters who are guiding us to the Heavenly Kingdom - Le Royaume -  under the patronage of Our Lady the Queen and by the will of our Lord the King.

These themes distill nicely into Le Royaume's mission statement and the Promise of the Knight of The Dove and Rose.

These notes will be updated from time to time and will include additional Bible references. This page in intended to be dynamic.

Let us begin our journey.

Seek the Kingdom, Love the Kingdom, Defend the Kingdom

1 - Good will is the prerequisite - not intellectual understanding

Good will is the love of truth in all its fullness and the desire to obtain it.

“Believe in order to understand.” - St. Anselm and St. Augustine

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 3:2

“and saying, ’The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel.’” Mark 1:15

"Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

2 - Truth is an objective form outside of us and to which we must be conformed

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” Deuteronomy 5:6

“I am the LORD your God from the land of Egypt; you know no God but me, and besides me there is no savior.” Hosea 13:4

"Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them.” Matthew 5:17

“through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations,” Romans 1:5

“but is now disclosed and through the prophetic writings is made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith.” Romans 16:26

3 - The Church is the steward of these truths, the kingdom of God on earth, the body and bride of Christ, and the only source of our salvation.

“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18

“if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.” I Timothy 3:15

“So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone,” Ephesians 2:20-21

“Jesus answered, ‘My kingship is not of this world; if my kingship were of this world, my servants would fight, that I might not be handed over to the Jews; but my kingship is not from the world.” John 18:36

“For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.” Ephesians 5:23

“Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;” Revelation 19:7

“Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, and spoke to me, saying, ’Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.’”

“And in the Spirit he carried me away to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God.” Revelation 21: 9-10

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.’” John 14:6

4 - Our First Philosophy renews as an expression of “In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1) and “In the beginning was the Word” (John 1:1) thus directing our reason as we come to understand everything in light of what we believe through our good will.

5 - Through our good will and willingness to order our lives in truth under the care of the Church, and with our new First Philosophy - sanctifying grace and actual graces move us as members of a family, a Kingdom. The saints walk with us experientially as our patrons, guides, brothers and sisters and fellow citizens. Our Lady is our Mother and our Queen. The Lord is our Brother, Savior, and King. This is Le Royaume. This is our destiny and our home.
